The Mozambican international, Reinildo Mandava, has a market value higher than the already known names in the soccer arena. An analysis by the website specialized in sports transfers, transfermarkt, reveals that the pass of the Atlético Madrid left defender exceeds those of Sergio Ramos (PSG), Gerard Piqué (Barcelona) and many others.
The portal considers that the pass of the Mozambican athlete, contracted to Lille from France by Atlético de Madrid, is worth 10 million euros. On the same site, this value is above the eight million euros of the pass of Ramos and is double the pass of Piqué.
While an athlete of Portuguese clubs the Mozambican's market value was low, staying well below half a million euros. After going through several clubs there, it was only at Belenenses SAD where he reached 600 thousand euros, on January 11, 2019.
His arrival at Lille of France changed the direction of the chart. On June 3, 2019 he was still worth 600,000 euros, but by December 19 of the same year he was already valued at three million euros.
Still in Lille, Reinildo's value dropped by about 600,000 euros, and by April 8, 2020 it was set at 2,400,000 euros. But on August 03 it rose again to 3,000,000 euros and remained until October 15, 2020.
The player's performances have caused the value of his pass to double to €6,000,000 in half a season, between October 15, 2020 and April 9, 2021.
As a result of his progress on the field while still in the service of the French club, Mandava saw his pass reach €9,000,000 on 04 June 2021. However, the slight drop of two million euros on October 8, 2021, did not affect his value to any great extent. Just before the end of 2021, that is, on December 16, the pass of the Mozambican was valued at 10,000,000 euros.
Mandava arrived at Atlético de Madrid on the last transfer day (31/01/2022) and signed until 2025. The Madrid club did not disclose the amounts involved in the purchase of the Mozambican pass from Lille.
