How much longer can the solar system live?

Quanto mais tempo de vida ainda aguenta o sistema solar?

A pair of mathematicians have developed a study that contains evidence that the Solar System and its planets will remain stable for at least the next 100,000 years.

The study, by Angel Zhivkov and Ivaylo Tounchev of Sofia University in Bulgaria, has not yet been reviewed by the scientific community, but, according to ScienceAlert, it is possible to see that the orbits of the planets in the Solar System will not change much over the next few thousand years.

Although there is still some time left (not much as far as the cosmos is concerned) until we have signs of instability in the Solar System, the Sun's inevitable future as a star will be to 'die' - which will inevitably cause planets to drift in the Universe.
