Qualificação para o CAN-2023: “Mambas” enfrentam Senegal

Today, at 21.00 Maputo time, minus two in Dakar, the national soccer team will meet their counterparts from Senegal in the third round of Group "L" for access to the CAN-2023.

The match is scheduled for the Senegal Stadium, also known as the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium, located in Dianmniadio, 30 kilometers from the center of the Senegalese capital, a venue that is expected to sell out today.

For this match, national coach Chiquinho Conde has all 23 physically fit players and promises to play a low-medium block, based on the usual 4-2-3-1, which should vary to a 4-3-3 depending on what happens on the pitch.

The match will be refereed by Libyan referee Mutaz Ibrahim, assisted by Attia Amsaad and Wahed Al Jahawe. Abdulrazg Ahmed will be the fourth official.

Mozambique is in second place in Group "L" with four points, two less than the "Lions of Teranga", who lead. Rwanda are third with two points. Benin are in fourth place with just one point from their 1-1 draw at home to Rwanda on Wednesday afternoon. (News)
