Grindrod Logistics Mozambique has reinforced its commitment to sustainable development and community support by donating information technology (IT) equipment to the "Inclusão Sonora" inclusive education project in Nacala. The official handover took place during a ceremony organized by the Nacala Municipal Government on 14 February.
The "Sound Inclusion" project, an initiative promoted by the Office of the First Lady of Nacala, aims to promote inclusion and access to education through technology, allowing more children and young people to develop digital and educational skills in an inclusive environment. The donation of IT equipment will strengthen the impact of the project, providing better learning conditions.
The Managing Director of Grindrod Logistics Mozambique, Ozi Honwana, accompanied by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team led by Mila Massango, formalized the donation to the Mayor of Nacala, Faruk Nuro Momade. During the ceremony, Mayor Momade expressed his recognition and gratitude for Grindrod's contribution, presenting the company with a certificate of recognition for its social commitment. The ceremony was also attended by other government representatives.
