The Prime Minister, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário, defends that the process of contracting goods and services for the State, should be guided by the principle of transparency, lawfulness and freedom from corruption.
According to Carlos Agostinho do Rosário, who was responding to complaints made by members of the Assembly of the Republic, about the direct adjustments in the contracting of the provision of services and supply of goods to the State within the scope of the covid-19 pandemic, he guaranteed that transparency should be a fundamental rule regardless of the regime applied.
Continuing, the governor stressed that "any public servant proven to have violated the law or to have engaged in acts of corruption in the contracting process for goods and services, in any of its modalities, will be held disciplinary and criminally responsible.
