P&O Maritime Logistics investe 14 milhões de dólares para melhorar serviços no Porto de Maputo

P&O Maritime Logistics will invest 14 million dollars to acquire modern vessels and improve logistics services at the Port of Maputo.

In fact, its subsidiary P&O Maritime Moçambique S.A recently signed a contract renewal with Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto e Maputo (MPDC) until 2023.

The vessels to be purchased should also contribute to reducing carbon dioxide emissions. This reflects shared ambitions for sustainable development.

Citing an MPDC document, the News says that vessels docking at the Port of Maputo will be assessed in an integrated tugboat and bridge simulator.

The same device will be used as a training ground for young cadets at the nautical school. The integrated simulator should be operational by mid-2024.
