Oil rises after US cyber attack. Gasoline at 2018 highs

Oil prices are rallying in Monday's session after a cyberattack halted production at one of the largest producers of this raw material in the United States, at a time when gasoline prices are skyrocketing.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is gaining 0.60% to $65.30 per barrel, driven by the international gasoline price, which today rises more than 4% to 2018 highs.

Powering this rise will be the shutdown of Colonial Pipeline, one of the world's largest gasoline suppliers, after it was the target of an attack on Friday that forced it to halt operations.

Brent - traded in London and used as a reference for Portugal - is gaining 0.62% to $68.70.
