ONU e Noruega apoiam Moçambique no combate ao crime organizado transnacional

Norway and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) have committed to extend their financial contribution to UNODC in Mozambique with a grant of about three million dollars.

The funding aims to strengthen assistance to the Mozambican government in its efforts to combat transnational organized crime, according to a joint press release from UNODC and the Norwegian Embassy in Mozambique quoted by AIM.

To this end, the grant signing ceremony took place recently in Maputo, and was attended by the UNODC Head of Office in Mozambique and Malawi, Marco Teixeira, and the Norwegian Ambassador to Mozambique, Haakon Gram-Johannessen.
