Norway will provide about three million dollars to support projects for the inclusion of people with disabilities in development programs.
The Norwegian Ambassador to Mozambique, Haakon Gran-Johannessen, said Tuesday at a press conference that his country is willing to support organizations working for the development of people with disabilities.
To this end, two million dollars will be made available each year to finance actions promoted by organizations working on social inclusion projects for people with disabilities.
The executive coordinator of the Forum of Mozambican Associations of People with Disabilities, Clodoaldo Castiano, said that this support will partly cover the existing budget deficit for the implementation of social inclusion programs for the disabled.
