The World Bank has announced 75 million dollars to build 11 water supply systems in the same number of districts in Nampula province, northern Mozambique.
According to a Radio MozambiqueThe money is also earmarked for the construction of 150 boreholes.
According to the provincial director of Public Works in Nampula, Rui Ramos, the system will be built in the districts of Mecubúri, Mugovolas, Moma, Muecate, Mossuril, Eráti, Rapale, Morrupula, Lalaua, Angoche and Malema.
"At the moment, a considerable number of boreholes have already been drilled in some of the districts concerned, which are expected to be completed by the end of this month," added Rui Ramos.
