Moza aprofunda relações comerciais no Fórum de Negócios Moçambique – Portugal

On September 2nd the Mozambique - Portugal Business and Investment Forum took place in Ricatla, Marracuene district in Maputo province.. The event was organized by the Mozambican Government through the Ministry of Industry, in partnership with the Portuguese Government, under the slogan "Promoting and Enabling Opportunities, Investments and Partnerships", and was attended by over 500 guests, with the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi and the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, in particular.

For Jaime Joaquim, member of the Bank's Executive Committee, the event was a unique opportunity to deepen commercial relations with the clients present - already established investors - and to identify new business opportunities with potential partners, thus promoting a substantial increase in commercial relations between Mozambique and Portugal.

"At the same time, due to the pertinence and relevance of the themes that were approached by the different panels, this edition of the Forum provided important subsidies to all the participants, and to Moza in particular, allowing a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in various sectors with emphasis on Agribusiness, a sector of activity that Moza has particular interest in boosting, for recognizing its enormous potential to contribute to the economic growth of the country. We had the opportunity here, even though informally, to present the support solutions for this branch of business for which Moza makes available specific financing lines with special conditions", said Executive Board member Jaime Joaquim

Moza proudly associated itself to this high level event, which was an excellent opportunity to capture business with companies, as well as to generate notoriety and exposure to the Moza brand.

The Mozambique - Portugal Business and Investment Forum is a platform for cooperation and economic and commercial promotion, led by the Governments of Mozambique and Portugal, with the following main objectives: Disclose the opportunities of the Portuguese and Mozambican markets as well as financing solutions and investments; Promote and attract investors to investment projects; Disclose entrepreneurial initiatives and good corporate practices of the private sector with inclusive and competitive impact.
