The Prime Minister considers that Mozambique meets all the conditions of peace and security to receive foreign investment, including from the United Arab Emirates.

At the opening, this Monday, of the Business Forum that brought together businessmen from both countries, on the sidelines of the celebration of Mozambique's day at Expo Dubai 2020, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário assured the representatives of the private sector of the Emirates that those two factors are safeguarded.

Therefore, assured the Prime Minister, there are conditions for the UAE business community to invest in Mozambique.

Carlos Agostinho do Rosário says that the Government has also made a constant commitment to improve the business environment for the facilitation of investments.

To the United Arab Emirates, the entrepreneurs are taking projects valued at nearly 450 million dollars in search of partnerships for their financing and consequent materialization.

These are projects in the areas of agro-processing, industry, mineral resources, logistics and transport, trade, and services, according to the President of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique, Agostinho Vuma, who revealed another perspective of financing on the table in the dialogue with businessmen from the Emirates.

At the Mozambique-United Arab Emirates Business Forum, government and private sector representatives from this Persian Gulf state envisioned a promising future in bilateral economic cooperation, judging by the existing potential in our country.
