Mozambique has seen a temperature rise of 0.7 degrees Celsius in the last 43 years, in the context of global warming, said the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala.

The Governor, who was speaking yesterday during the presentation of the climate clock, revealed that the country could also have two new radars this year, with a view to improving weather forecasting.

In 2023, the world recorded its highest temperatures and Mozambique was not left out. According to the data released, the country has been recording higher temperatures than in the past.

At the same event, the Maputo Province Meteorological Bulletin was launched, which should help people prevent the impact of climate change.
