Mozambique wants to take advantage of Kazakhstan's experience in the exploration and management of strategic mineral resources and technological innovation to boost the development of these areas in the country.
This was announced today, Wednesday (16), in Maputo by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, at the accreditation ceremony for Kazakhstan's first Ambassador to Mozambique.
In a publication by Radio MozambiqueThe Mozambican head of state said that the country's location in Central Asia also meant that Mozambique could increase trade with that continent.
Also today, the President of the Republic received letters of credence from the Dominican Republic's first diplomatic representative in Maputo, with whom Mozambique hopes to cooperate in four areas in particular.
The President of the Republic said that diplomatic relations between Mozambique and the Dominican state would boost existing economic and political cooperation.
Filipe Nyusi also said that "economic cooperation should translate into the well-being of the peoples of both countries". "Diplomatic relations with the Dominican Republic can awaken new areas of common interest," said the Mozambican statesman.
At the same ceremony, the President of the Republic received letters of credence from diplomatic representatives from Somalia, Mauritania, Chile, Venezuela, Korea and Colombia.
