The national soccer team drew 1-1 against their Angolan counterparts yesterday in the first round of Group "C" of the 22nd edition of the COSAFA Cup.

In the match played at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban, the "Palancas Negras" came out on top and scored the first goal in the third minute through M. Afonso. The Mambas responded in the 83rd minute with a goal from Dayo.

With this result, the two teams occupy second and third place with 1 point, in a group led by Lesotho, who beat Mauritius (last place) 2-0.
