The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, said that the authorities of Mozambique and Qatar have agreed to deepen commercial and political relations.

Filipe Nyusi assured that he will make, on a date to be announced, a state visit to Qatar at the invitation of the authorities of that country, for the realization of the claim.

President Filipe Nyusi made these pronouncements at a meeting with the Mozambican community living here in Qatar.

And the members of the Mozambican community in Qatar are willing to return to the country and contribute to the development of the hydrocarbon projects.

This interest was expressed by the Representative of the Mozambican Community residing in Qatar, in a meeting with the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi.

Qatar is home to the largest community of Mozambicans in Asia, a large part of whom work at Qatar Alumminnium, in Construction and Civil Aviation.
