Mozambique and Portugal are finalizing preparations for the signature, next July, of a new Strategic Cooperation Program, during the summit between the two countries.

The Portuguese Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Francisco André, who is in the country in preparation for the summit, said that the new program will bring innovations, with emphasis on response to the economic consequences resulting from the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Quoted by Radio Mozambique, Francisco André said that the July meeting will also take stock of the strategic cooperation program that has already ended.
