Mozambique remains a destination for tourism investment

Moçambique continua a ser um destino para investimento turístico

Mozambique continues to be a destination for investment in the tourism sector, despite the pandemic situation.

This idea was defended by the National Tourism Director, Cândido Langa, when he spoke on Tuesday in Maputo, during a press conference organized by the Confederation of Mozambique Economic Associations (CTA), as part of the festive season.

Cândido Langa pointed out that Vilankulo district, in Inhambane province, for example, is a choice destination for being an area that comprises the Bazaruto archipelago, with international recognition, but that needs more investment for its consolidation and expansion.

"There is the ZIT tourism interest zone of Inhassouro, where integrated tourism can be developed with golf courses and hotels, which would help place the country in the global tourism market," said Cândido Langa.
