The Mozambican government has approved, through the Council of Ministers, the amendment of the regulation on the mechanisms and procedures for hiring citizens of foreign nationality.

The information was released yesterday, after the 35th ordinary session of the Council of Ministers in Maputo.

According to the Mozambican government, the aim of the review is to clarify and make more flexible the systems for hiring foreign nationals, thus opening up more opportunities for attracting foreign investment.

The revision will also make it possible to create more jobs, without compromising the structural principle of protecting the national workforce.
