Millennium bim, in partnership with the Khanimambo Association, supported the painting of a mural, created as part of World Albinism Awareness Day.
The initiative is part of the Bank's ongoing efforts to promote inclusion and raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with Albinism in Mozambique.
The mural, which is located downtown, is the creation of renowned artist Sebastião Coana, with the aim of raising awareness in the community about the importance of protecting and valuing people with Albinism.
With vibrant colors and symbolic elements, the work of art aims to convey a message of respect, equality and acceptance of difference. Millennium bim's CEO João Martins said: "Through art, we are painting a new picture of inclusion and awareness, breaking down the
barriers to prejudice and celebrating diversity. The mural is a cry for equality, an invitation for everyone to look beyond differences."
Support for the painting of the mural is one of the pillars of the Bank's "More Mozambique for Me" social responsibility program, which has been implemented over the years with a significant impact on the lives of Mozambicans.
