A new baggage policy for domestic flights has been in effect since the beginning of this month on Mozambique Airlines (LAM).
Essentially, the new instrument that regulates the transport of baggage on the flag carrier, maintains the 23 kilograms established for economy class, and 32 kilograms for business class, and these quantities must be carried in a single bag.
It is this last aspect that represents a change in LAM's new baggage transportation policy, a formula described by the company's Commercial Director, Maria Ferreira, as facilitating for both passengers and the company.
Maria Ferreira also said that the new baggage policy was also adopted to follow international airline industry standards.
Meanwhile, the new baggage policy introduced by Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique still maintains hand luggage and presents payment options for extra luggage.
