INSS prepares to resume services in Mocímboa and Palma

The delegation of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), in Cabo Delgado, intends to resume its services soon in the areas previously affected by terrorism, following the restoration of tranquility in that province.

The return to normality is due to the work done by the defense and security forces, particularly in the districts of Mocímboa da Praia and Palma.

According to AIM, a team from the institution, headed by its provincial delegate, Chomar Selemane, worked in the region during the past week to ascertain the reality on the ground. The team also held meetings with local authorities.

On the occasion, the team received assurances of support for the INSS in restoring its services after the preparations are completed.

"In Palma, the team was received by the district administrator, João Buchile, who requested a space for the operation of the INSS services, while the construction of future facilities is underway," he said.
