The II edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair kicked off today in Durban

Some 54 African countries are participating in the largest Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2021) and Mozambique was not far behind.

Under the slogan "Transform Africa", the second edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2021) kicked off this morning in Durban, South Africa

The event will run until November 21st 2021, having, among other objectives, to bring together continental and global players to show and exhibit goods and services, explore opportunities

of business and investment in Africa.

 

The fair brings together buyers and sellers of goods and services, and aims to provide a platform for business-to-business exchanges in the "B2B" (Business to Government) format.

At the same Fair, trade, investment, and market information will be shared with various stakeholders, including investors, SMEs, and the informal sector, and solutions will be identified to address the challenges affecting intra-African trade.

 

According to Afreximbank, the fair's organizer, in collaboration with the African Union Commission, as well as other financial institutions, the event will enable information sharing on trade finance and boost intra-African trade.

The Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2021) brings together institutions and companies from 54 countries, including Mozambique.
