Government Goes to Parliament Today to Provide Information to Members of Parliament

The government will be in parliament today and tomorrow to provide specific information on the socio-economic and political development of the country.

The regulations of the Assembly of the Republic foresee that in this parliamentary session each parliamentary bench will put one question to the executive.

Frelimo wants the executive to provide information about the situation of the road infrastructures, as the parliamentary rapporteur Telmina Pereira said.

Renamo, meanwhile, expects the government to share information about the quality of education in the country.

Renamo parliamentary bloc spokesman Arnaldo Chalaua says that one cannot talk about the quality of education without talking about the quality of the teacher.

The Democratic Movement of Mozambique, according to Fernando Bismarque, its spokesman, is concerned about the placement of tolls on the Maputo ring road.
