According to the vice-minister of Industry and Commerce, Ludovina Bernardo, one of the great challenges the country is currently facing stems from the terrorist actions in Cabo Delgado and the COVID-19 pandemic, whose negative effects are currently tending to slow down.
For Ludovina Bernardo, quoted by "O País", despite these challenges, the country has made remarkable progress in the implementation of the Action Plan for the Improvement of the Business Environment (PAMAN) in the period 2019-2021 in the order of 43.2% of achievement.
"We must not lose sight of the fact that this is the last year of implementation of this instrument that contains integrated actions that the Government and the private sector have committed to undertake to ensure the continuous improvement of the business environment in our country," said Bernardo, during his speech at the opening of the workshop to harmonize the actions of the Intersectoral Group for the Removal of Barriers to Investment (GIRBI) and Pelouros of the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA).
Also according to the governor, the Executive is aware of the need to adopt more incentives to private investment, in order to react to adverse conditions.
"We must collectively assume that there is still a long way to go at this time of the pandemic, so we are all called upon to be bold in order to rebuild our economy, which involves continuing with actions to simplify and debureaucratize processes and procedures," stressed the deputy minister.
