Government creates inspection to investigate subsidies in the INSS

The government said today in parliament that it had ordered an extraordinary and urgent inspection of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), with a view to clarifying the scandal of the approval of the start-up allowance for members of the Board of Directors.

According to the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, who was responding to the MDM's question on the subject, said that she has received the preliminary report, which is also with the INSS board members for contradiction.

He added that the General Inspection of Public Administration is part of the working group.
