This year, the government will invest around 1.3 billion meticais in the construction of the first production unit for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), cooking gas, with a view to maximizing its use in the country.

According to information provided by Notícias online, the gas production unit will be implemented in Temane, Inhambane province.

The construction of the unit is part of the Economic and Social Plan and the State Budget for this year, in which the Executive proposes to continue prioritizing the expansion and improvement of quality infrastructures that will serve to boost productive activity in the various sectors.

It should be noted that with the development of gas projects in Mozambique, the executive has been maximizing the gains from the exploitation of hydrocarbons, with a view to ensuring that more citizens can benefit from these resources in an increasingly significant way.
