Business Forum brings together Mozambican and Rwandan businessmen

Access Bank Mozambique was one of the main partners of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce in hosting a Business Mission from Rwanda to the country. The mission, consisting of over 50 Rwandan businessmen, included the holding of a Business Forum between the two countries.

Besides the support, as a partner, says the press release, Access Bank participated in the Business Forum having Marco Abalroado as one of the main speakers.

The Managing Director of the Bank addressed the topic 'Economic Growth and the Financial Sector in Mozambique'.

The event was also attended by Silvino Moreno, Mozambican Minister of Industry and Trade, and the Rwandan Minister of Industry and Trade, Hon. Habyarimana Uwamaliza Béata.

More than 150 businessmen from both countries participated in the Forum, interested in exploring business opportunities in the agriculture, agro-processing, ICT, tourism, renewable energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, logistics, transport, textile and clothing industry sectors, among others.

Parallel to the Forum, an exhibition and B2B meetings (business to business) with the objective of exposing investment opportunities in Mozambique and giving Mozambican entrepreneurs the possibility to develop business partnerships with their Rwandan counterparts.

Access Bank thus reinforces its commitment to the economic development of Mozambique and to the growth of the business sector in particular.
