Evolution Participações, a Mozambican company that operates in the areas of events, metalworking, tourism and construction, was recognized on Tuesday (19) with the "Mozambican Pride. Made in Mozambique".
This distinction, according to the Maputo provincial government, is the result of its direct impact on the growth of national production.
During the ceremony, which took place at the Maputo provincial government building, Governor Manuel Tule pointed out that the stamp serves, firstly, to identify what is from Mozambique, which is why it is also called "Mozambican Pride" and, secondly, it is a way of promoting local production.
"We think that the award of this seal can boost local production and enhance the services we provide as Mozambicans and as residents of Maputo province, in particular," emphasized Manuel Tule, adding that as of Tuesday, Evolution Participações belongs to the group of companies that, anywhere and at any time, can present themselves as national, that defend local consumption and production and that promote Mozambican content.
For his part, the head of Evolution Participações, Teodósio Rey, said that the "Made in Mozambique" label proves that this is a truly national company, as it represents the country, so "we're very happy to have this label, because our purpose is really to show that we produce in Mozambique and that we are Mozambicans".
The source went on to say that the company will continue to work with greater dedication and responsibility, because "if anyone questioned our innovations as possibly being made by foreigners, here is proof that we are Made in Mozambique".
The "Made in Mozambique" label is an initiative of the Maputo Provincial Executive Council, through the Provincial Directorate for Industry and Commerce.
