Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, has become the richest man in the world, surpassing the CEO of Amazon and the owner of Louis Vuitton, according to the Billionaires Index Bloomberg.
At the moment, the tech entrepreneur has a fortune valued at $193 billion. The most recent stock change was negative, at around $530,000, while the change since the beginning of the year was positive, at around $22.9 billion.
In second place comes Jeff Bezos with a fortune valued at $191 billion and Bernard Arnault with $176 billion.
This is no longer the first time Elon Musk has reached this mark. On July 20, he became the richest man on Earth, albeit for different reasons: technically, when Bezos went up into space with the Blue Origin rocket, he ceased to be in this position, not because he lost his wealth, but because he left the planet. So, for only 11 minutes, the SpaceX CEO was actually the richest man on planet Earth.
