Fenix Construction Services Group and Berry Juice Construction Group have announced that they have merged their operations and will conduct their business under the new brand, RadX Construction.
The now-joined companies have been working in the Mozambican market as builders and civil contractors for about 20 years. They have successfully delivered more than 130 projects in numerous market sectors, including residential, commercial, tourism, agriculture, mining, and oil and gas.
One such project was the successful completion of the initial phase of Mozpark's Topuito Industrial Park in Moma, Nampula province.
Several of these projects were conducted as joint ventures, and over time it became obvious to the companies' management teams that merging the companies into a stronger, more competitive construction company made the best sense for all concerned.
According to the company's Director, Reinier Meyjes, in that time of performance the companies stood firm and prospered "in a turbulent market."
"Our goal is to build on this resiliency to bring more stability to our merged group of companies. We will have greater capacity and geographic reach, leading to better diversification, and making us a more attractive regional contractor," he considered.
In addition to its strong position in Mozambique, RadX Construction is also operating in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. "Right now, we are seeing a number of opportunities, particularly in Zimbabwe, and we are on track to increase our market presence and capacity in that country," Meyjes concludes.
