The 42nd Ordinary Summit of SADC will decide today whether or not to continue the Organization's military mission to combat terrorism in Cabo Delgado.
At the meeting, Mozambique is represented at the highest level, by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, whose summit is being held in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
On Tuesday evening, Filipe Nyusi, participated in the SADC Troika Summit on Politics, Defense and Security, preceding the Wednesday Summit of Heads of State and Government of the region.
Also at the ordinary SADC Summit, the first independent President of Mozambique, Samora Moisés Machel, one of the founders of the Regional Organization, will be honored. (RM)
