The Prime Minister, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário, defended the need to capitalize on the potential and competitive advantages that the organization has in the sectors of Agriculture, Industry, Economy of the Sea, Tourism, Infrastructure, energy resources (especially those of water, fossil and renewable origin), as well as services and logistics of development corridors.
Carlos Agostinho do Rosário participated, yesterday, in Luanda, representing the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, in the 13th Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).
For the Mozambican governor, the investment in these areas will allow the cooperation between the member states to have an effective impact on socio-economic development and, consequently, on the creation of well-being for the people through the generation of more jobs and income, especially for young people.
"To this end, and in order to take better advantage of these potentials that we possess, we believe that the best approach is based on the stimulation and consolidation of partnerships between the private sectors of our countries, as well as the exploitation of the digital dividend and the complementarity of the existing infrastructure capacities in our states."
