It sounds like a story, but it's real. Two men were arrested in the act on Friday in Ferraz de Vasconcelos, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, while carrying out a robbery that had been going on for around 30 hours.

According to local newspapers, the two suspects broke into the rural property, where a mother and two children were staying, armed.

As well as taking the three people hostage, the suspects had been making numerous transfers from the families' accounts via an app called Pix for around 30 hours.

However, it was in a moment of 'tiredness', given the marathon, that the two fell asleep, which allowed one of the sons to call the Military Police, who took action and arrested them.

"When they arrived at the residence, the suspects were still asleep and tried, according to the Brazilian press, to flee, but without success," against the Brazilian press, explaining that, however, no one was injured, and the men were taken to the police station.
