Indigo Blue releases first single "GO!"

Banda “Indigo Blue” lança primeiro Single intitulado “GO!”

Indigo Blue is the name of the latest project by Mozambican musician Xavier Machiana, known as the former lead singer of the Rockfellers band with several years in the national music market.

This new Mozambican pop rock band "Indigo Blue", which presents itself as a collective that explores cultural and artistic diversity, is made up of Xavier Machiana (lead singer), Sílvio Ferrão (guitar), Mole G. Mussoco (bass), Ray Mauele: (keyboards), Timóteo Cuche (sax) and Ivan Ferreira (drums). This line-up has the particularity of bringing together experienced musicians with international careers and backgrounds ranging from rock, jazz, gospel, traditional Mozambican, pop and funk.

Formed in 2022 the Indigo Blue participated in some festivals in Maputo, offering a new musicality to the national music scene.

The name "Indigo Blue" symbolizes values such as peace, humanity, integrity and love between all individuals, embodying the message and harmony that the collective seeks to convey through its music.

The single "GO!" is a contemporary pop-rock ballad that began to be written during the Covid-19 period, based on personal and social events. "Go!" explores the need to focus on the positive aspects of life as a way of overcoming trauma and loss on various levels.

The Indigo Blue a multifaceted band that values diversity, the production of the single included several participants: Amável Pinto, Pappy Miranda, Realdo Salato, Vekina Manuel and Helena Cuinica. The single was recorded, mixed and mastered by Mozambican engineer Zacarias Paulo in Maputo at the band's studios. It is a Mozambican 100% product.
