Road traffic will be restricted on National Road Number 6 (N6), which gives access to the city of Beira, Sofala province and other Interland countries.
According to the National Road Administration (ANE), traffic will be restricted for a month, from April 20 to May 20.
According to a statement from ANE, the road linking the port city of Beira to the border town of Machipanda, in Manica, is being closed "due to emergency works being carried out near the new bridge over the Púnguè River, in Sofala province".
"As a result, traffic will be restricted between Tica and Mutua and traffic will take an alternative route," reads the document, quoted by the newspaper Sunday.
