Access Bank strengthens support for private sector development in the country

Access Bank Mozambique reaffirmed the desire to continue to contribute to the economic and financial development of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), through the creation of mechanisms that facilitate bureaucratic processes and boost business.

The intention was expressed at the Mozambique-Nigeria Investment Forum, held on September 29 and 30, in Maputo, with the objective of promoting a space for interaction between businessmen from the two countries.

This was an event co-organized by the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) and the Nigerian Embassy and attended by 150 participants, including the Minister of Industry and Commerce, government representatives, and members of the Nigerian diplomatic corps, among others.

Egildo Massuanganhe, Access Bank representative, addressing the topic "Financial Considerations for Ease of Doing Business," said bank provides customized services to meet the needs of various sectors of the economy. "Our clients constitute the value chain for the bank's divisions, involving the commercial, corporate and investment areas," said responsible, adding that Access Bank is ready to "support the exploration of investment initiatives needed by entrepreneurs and help them improve their competitiveness, both domestically and in the international sphere."

The event also came to make Nigerian businessmen aware of the legal procedures for the registration of companies in Mozambique, in the context of business formalization and market development. It also provided background on tax and customs legislation, considered fundamental for investors, with emphasis on tax benefits applicable to foreign investments.

Access Bank continues committed to make Mozambican companies grow, being represented in business initiatives that promote commercial and financial exchange, seeking solutions to increase their competitiveness.
