Access Bank donates water pump to Maxaquene swimming pool

Access Bank Mozambique has offered a water pump to the Maxaquene swimming pool. The donation will ensure the operation of that infrastructure considered one of the main ones for the holding of swimming championships in the country, says the statement sent to our newsroom.

The pump has an estimated functional lifetime of 15 years and will allow the pool to be maintained during this period.

Currently the management of the Maxaquene pool is held by the Sharks Sports Club of Maputo, which has 110 swimmers of all classes, from pre-initiates to seniors. The pool hosts about 70% of the country's swimming events, and last week hosted the national swimming championship.

With this support to the development and promotion of sports, Access Bank continues with its commitment to Mozambique, presenting itself more and more as a bank that is close to its customers and the society.

Note that Access Bank is the largest retail network in Africa with 49 million customers, and is present in 17 countries and three continents, maintaining the vision of wanting to be the most respected African bank in the world.
