The French government is disbursing around 33 million meticais to fund various business incubator courses for young people in the provinces of Zambézia and Sofala, central Mozambique..
The money, which will be channelled to Licungo University, will be used entirely to pay for scholarships for the beneficiaries, who will be selected through a public competition, according to the rector of UniLicungo, Boaventura Aleixo, who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the institution's academic year.
On the occasion, the Secretary of State in Sofala, Cecília Chamutota, quoted by Radio MozambiqueHe reiterated that "the government will continue to support the academic class through various youth initiative programs".
