The fifty-ninth edition of the Maputo International Fair, Facim 2024, was launched today in Ricatla, Marracuene district, Maputo province.

The host of the event will occupy the country's largest business showcase; two pavilions with 300 exhibitors from large, small and medium-sized companies, which will showcase their potential in various areas, according to Radio Mocambique.

According to the same source, the manufacturing industry and agriculture and livestock are the sectors that will dominate the " stands" of the province.

The director of Industry and Commerce in Maputo, Joel Nhassengo, says that the expectation is to maximize the range of contacts for partnerships at national and international level, and to attract more investment to this part of the country.
