The world-famous British racing driver, Lewis Hamilton, has landed in Mozambique to spend his vacation enjoying the best that Mozambique has to offer.
A source from MZNewsThe source, who is aware of the events surrounding Hamilton's tourist visit, said that the pilot arrived in Vilankulo by helicopter on Saturday afternoon and immediately went to settle on one of the Bazurto islands. The source said that Hamilton, 39, was accompanied by family and friends.
He said that Hamilton's trip to Bazaruto had been in the works for around six months. The national tourist attraction has been put on the agenda of the driver's tour of the African continent. The source did not say which other countries the Briton has visited or will visit.
"The purpose of the visit to Bazaruto is to find peace and be in a more relaxed place," noted the source.
It should be remembered that Inhambane's tourist landscapes have been special and preferred spots for famous foreign tourists. In 2022, visited Bazaruto for the second time - 10 years later - Prince Harry of England. That same year, Dutch soccer star Arjen Robben visited the same destination.
