Eitah! Here we have what seems to me to be the strategy of a "good bandit", carried out by Adriano Nuvunga. He deserves to be called "El Chapo".
In my hazy vision, and with so little scope, Nuvunga gave a masterstroke this Monday (05) to the politics of dubious findings. He launched the Report on the Situation of Human Rights in 2023, and made it clear that state institutions respect these principles, especially the Police of the Republic of Mozambique. As he said, the situation is "horrible".
So what's this scam? Looking at the clock, the launch of that report took place on the eve of the last State of the Nation Report to be delivered on Wednesday (07.08) by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi.
With this, it seems to me that, strategically, there is an impulse to strip Nyusi's speech in advance of any possible contours to the truth regarding human rights in Mozambique.
By releasing the report of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights less than 72 hours before the PR presents his speech, I can infer to myself that a window is being opened for the writing wizards presidential speeches mend the lines. I think this because, even though the situation is chaotic, political speeches renew hope and inspire confidence...
But to what extent is Nuvunga a good thug, capable of puffing out his chest in the face of secular political speeches? (Emmanuel Mocinha. Image: DR)
