The 2024 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicks off this Tuesday, the 9th, but, not wanting to waste any time, LG and Samsung have taken advantage of the start of the week to show off their transparent televisions.
According to a report published today by Notícias ao Minuto, LG's OLED T is the brand's first model with a transparent screen and 4K resolution. The OLED T is equipped with the Alpha 11 processor which, according to LG, is four times more powerful than the previous generation. The base of the television has integrated speakers.
LG has plans to start selling the OLED T in 2024 but has not yet announced prices for what will be its first TV with a transparent screen.
For its part, Samsung also took the opportunity at the start of the week to show off its transparent television, although in the company's case this is MicroLED technology and what has been shown is only a prototype.
We'll still have to wait a while for more details on this transparent TV from Samsung, and it's worth waiting until CES to see if it offers any more information.
