The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday announced the construction of the first graphite extraction and processing plant in the district of Nipepe, Niassa province.

Quoted by "Notícias", the Head of State said that the new plant would have a major impact on the employability of young people and accelerate the development of that part of the country.

He advised young people to avoid committing crimes, encouraging them to stay focused on their work.

"Anyone who thought that Nipepe was the last district was mistaken, because now it will be the first to have a graphite factory, just like Balama and Ancuabe," he said.

Filipe Nyusi also said that these factories are boosting life in the districts. The road is already under construction, which will ensure rapid development.
