Benzema deixa Real Madrid para se juntar a CR7. Recebeu proposta milionária de dois dígitos

French international Karim Benzema will leave Spanish club Real Madrid at the end of this season for Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, where he is expected to play in the same league as Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) at Al Nassr.

Although the actual value of the contract is unknown, it is known that earlier this week Benzema received a two-year offer worth 400 million euros. The Frenchman reportedly accepted the offer after talking to the Portuguese star.

Benzema was expected to stay in Madrid for another season until June 2024, but has opted to accept a new challenge. He is due to start work in Saudi Arabia in January 2024.

Benzema, 35, left French club Lyon for Real Madrid in 2009 as one of the most highly-rated young strikers in Europe. He became one of the main cogs in the attack after CR7's departure in 2018.

At the Spanish club he won 24 trophies: four LaLiga titles; five Champions Leagues; three Copa del Rey titles; three Spanish Super Cups; four UEFA Super Cups; and five FIFA Club World Cups.

He will also leave an impressive 353 goals for Real Madrid, but behind CR7 with 450 goals.

Despite the rumors of CR7's departure from AL Nassr, the possibility of the stars meeting on Saudi soil remains open.
