On Monday, the International Committee of the Red Cross unveiled a digital application to support those in need. The exhibition was officially opened in New York and aims to make it easier to provide support to people in need.
The initiative has the participation of the Swiss Confederation. The Mozambican Head of State, Filipe Nyusi, was one of the guests at the ceremony, as part of his visit to the United States of America, the highlight of which will be his intervention today at the Open Debate on the Protection of Civilians in Conflict Zones, organized by the Swiss Confederation, which holds the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council.
According to Jornal Notícias, the exhibition is basically a technology that aims to facilitate the location and provision of support to people in need of humanitarian assistance in areas affected by armed conflicts, in all parts of the world. "The computer application also contributes to the dissemination of useful information about the needs of those affected and prevents the spread of fake news."
