TotalEnergies patrocina formação de 390 jovens em Cabo Delgado

On Wednesday in Pemba, the Industrial and Commercial Institute of Pemba (IICP) and TotalEnergies signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at laying the foundations for the operationalization of technical and vocational training for 390 young people in Cabo Delgado province.

To materialize this memorandum, the Mozambique LNG project, as part of its CapacitaMoz initiative, will invest around 250,000 US dollars in the first year of the memorandum.

In this first training cycle, the 390 young Mozambicans will be trained in the areas of oil and gas processing, industrial electricity, general mechanics and hotels and tourism.

In a statement quoted by AIM, TotalEnergies explains that the memorandum also provides for the development of a train-the-trainer program with a focus on the use of equipment related to oil and gas processing training, as well as support for the construction of an auto mechanics workshop.
