The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, renewed yesterday, in the Parliament, the Government's commitment to continue improving and consolidating the modules that make up the State Financial Administration computer system (e-SISTAFE).
To this end, Maleiane highlighted the improvement of planning and budgeting, execution of the Economic and Social Plan and the State Budget, State Patrimony Management, Public Debt Management, and Internal Audit Administration.
"We are certain that with the improvement and consolidation of the e-SISTAFE modules we will ensure greater effectiveness, efficiency and celerity in the processes of planning, budgeting, budget execution and accountability, at all levels of public administration," he stressed this morning on the second day of the Government's answers to Parliament.
The source reiterated the importance of human capital in the consolidation process of public finance management, assuring that the Government will continue to promote the training and capacity building of State employees and agents to ensure that they improve their knowledge and mastery of the rules and procedures of the State Financial Administration System.
On the other hand, the Government will continue to strengthen the internal control and accountability mechanisms with a view to ensuring effective compliance with the rules and procedures of the State Financial Administration.
"The implementation of these and other actions will allow for continuous improvement in the process of preparing the General State Account, which meets the observations and recommendations of AR, the Administrative Court, as well as international best practices," he stressed.
