The mobile operator Tmcel supported the II Edition of Hack4Moz, which took place from July 1st to 3rd, in the BCI auditorium in Maputo, with prizes and professional internships, with job opportunities.
This is an initiative of the National Geospatial Development Agency-ADE, in the format of a #hackathon, which aims to bring together young people and adults from different parts of the country, enthusiasts in spatial analysis, programming, and technology development to develop digital solutions and applications in record time.
Tmcel's support to this event was part of its corporate social responsibility actions. For this edition, the themes were: Renewable Energies, Health, Education and Urban Mobility.
"As a result of the first edition of Hack4Moz, held in June 2019, Tmcel integrated 12 young people into its internship program, and subsequently recruited 10 to its staff," reads the statement released by the operator.
The launch of the event was attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala.
