The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, appointed this Thursday, by Presidential Dispatch, Adriano Afonso Maleiane to the post of Prime Minister.

In separate Presidential Orders, the Head of State appointed Ernesto Max Elias Tonela, to the position of Minister of Economy and Finance; Carlos Alberto Fortes Mesquita, Public Works, Housing and Water Resources; Lídia de Fátima da Graça Cardoso, for the position of Minister of Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries; Carlos Joaquim Zacarias, Mineral Resources and Energy; Silvino Augusto José Moreno, for the position of Minister of Industry and Commerce; and Amílcar Paia Tivane, for the position of Vice-Minister of Economy and Finance.
